Where are components manufactured within Accellent?
Components are made at virtually all of the Accellent facilities. We also understand the importance of business continuity and have several locations with overlapping capabilities that can be leveraged should the need arise.
What materials does Accellent work with?
Accellent works with a number of commercially available materials in metal and plastic. The actual materials are based on the customer's specifications and in some cases can be new materials as a result of working with our Alloy Development group.
Does Accellent use SPC (Statistical Process Control)?
Absolutely! Being a Lean Engineering/Six Sigma oriented company we strive at understanding process capability and ensure process repeatability and drive down component costs.
